Job description

MMIC Application Engineering Co-op
Application Engineering is a fast-paced team, solving technical problemsfor customers. We work together to get data in the lab, analyzeinformation for the customers, create technical presentations, updatedatasheets, post technical information on the web, and assemble information tosupport both customers and other MACOM teams.
Specific Tasks:
A co-op will get training to help the team with:
-Lab measurement techniques for RF & Microwave devices, including using anetwork analyzer, spectrum analyzer, power meter, and other instruments.
-Processing data using tools such as Keysight ADS, Minitab, Python, MATLAB, andother tools
-Help with automated lab setups. This could involve helping with pythonautomation scripts.
-Lookup information in our documentation system to answer basic customerquestions.
-Attend some design reviews to learn about cross-functional engineering teams
-Help with details pertaining to customer meetings or requests.
A co-op experience with the applications team at MACOM offers real-worldlearning and technical experience with radio frequency(RF), microwave(uW) andmillimeter-wave(MMW) products.
