Role Description

Responsible for extracting knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional data to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques, which may include the use of advanced statistical analysis, algorithms, predictive modeling, experimentation and pattern recognition to create solutions that enable enhanced business performance. Designs,developsand programs methods, processes, and systems toconsolidateand analyze unstructured, diverse "big data" sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.The team is composed of experts in artificial intelligence, deep learning,data-structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and system performance and analysis. The systems that the team builds get used across the multitude of Company data science-based services and deployments.Worksindependently with minimal-to-no supervision while alsodemonstratingthe ability to lead projects and initiatives autonomously.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and generate insights from large data sets and clearly communicate results

  • Works with large, noisy, and complex datasets to produce analysis of historical patterns in customer behaviors and product performance from complex real-world behavioral data.

  • Willingto learn and apply statistical modeling techniques (regression, decision trees, clustering, etc.)

  • Uses analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyzelarge amountsof data, extracting actionable insights using advanced statistical techniques such as data analysis, data mining, optimization tools and machine learning techniques and statistics (e.g., predictive models, lifetime value, propensity models).

  • Creates data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies toidentifytrends in large data sets.

  • Researchesand applies knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions.

  • Creates deliverables and presentations that reportmethodologyand results of analysis.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular,consistentand punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Compensation

Base Pay: $32.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
