The Landis+Gyr Co-op program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students with the option of integrating academic study with related, work-based learning. Applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program and available for an alternating rotating semester schedule. Masters level students will not be considered. This first rotation begins August 2026 for the 3-semester rotation and the student will be working full-time hours Monday through Friday on-site at our Lafayette, Indiana location. Expected graduation date should be 2028 or later to allow enough time for 3 working semesters alternating with 3 school semesters. This is a paid position but we don't offer housing assistance so candidates local to the Lafayette, IN area are preferred.
Project Overview
Engage with the firmware team in development activity on the Revelo Dual Comms project. This will include hands-on development of embedded firmware, working with CICD systems working on build and test pipelines.
Student Objectives/Responsibilities
• Introduce CICD using our Gitlab environment, specifically commit, code review, smoke test, unit test and regression test.
• Complete a code review for one of the team's members commits
• Complete a user story for Revelo Dual Comms. This will involve comprehension of requirements, code development, unit test development, code commit, responding to code review findings, responding to static analysis, build and regression test failures, and documentation.
Education/Experience
Co-op applicants must be undergraduate students working towards their Bachelors degree in Computer, Electrical or Software Engineering. Masters level students and students with expected graduation dates before 2028 will not be considered.
