Description

Summary:

The Distribution Technician picks and packs product in warehouse based on Member orders and conducts periodic cycle counts.


Essential Functions:

  • Receive shipments, unload packages from incoming truck and sign paperwork upon receipt.
  • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged and verify packages according to order and invoices.
  • Obtain and print member orders.
  • Use RF units and carts to walk to specific locations in the warehouse to pick needed inventory to fulfill order.  Ensure selection of proper product and package size.  Be aware of product expiration dates to move older merchandise first.
  • Transfer picked product to the packing area. Scan labels to generate member invoices. Place invoices in the packing box and arrange product in box to prevent damage during shipment, adding air fill and other materials as necessary. Tape the box to secure the contents and place on the  scale to weigh and generate the shipping label.  Attach the label to the box.
  • Must be able to change paper and ink rolls on printers and change the air bubble on the bubble air fill unit. 
  • Perform housekeeping tasks when instructed by a supervisor. 
  • Utilize RF units and carts to store newly received items to proper warehouse locations. Follow proper procedure to ensure stock rotation.

Non- Essential Functions:

  • Notify supervisor of any equipment problems or unsafe situations.

Hours: M-F 4:00pm - 8:30pm 3 to 4 days a week

Must be 16 or older to apply.

Requirements

Preferred Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, and carts.
  • Basic math skills and computer skills required.
