Job description

The Clinical Neuroscience Institute (CNSI) is seeking BC/BE general neurologists to join our existing team of over 20 neurologists. CNSI is a growing and dynamic group employed by Premier Health and closely affiliated with Wright State Universitys Boonshoft School of Medicine. We have a neurology residency program (4 per year) and work with medical students as well. If you enjoy teaching this is an excellent opportunity for you; protected time for teaching and staffing residents will be built into your schedule.

Highlights:

  • No stroke call
  • Stroke service is provided by our excellent but separate stroke team.
  • Evening call is infrequent and taken from home only.
  • Hospital coverage is supported by neurology senior residents who are in house 24/7.
  • Our general neurology attendings rarely cover weekends (1 to 2 per year at most).
  • Your mix of outpatient to inpatient weeks is very flexible depending on your preference.
  • EEG reading also completely optional.
  • Our Epilepsy team provides full collaborative support with EEG reads for all hospital patients and will read EEGs ordered in the outpatient setting as well.
  • If you are experienced and comfortable with EEG you may choose to participate in this service but it is not required.

The Clinical Neuroscience Institute provides quality care to patients in Dayton and the surrounding region. Come be a part of this exciting team and remember why you became a neurologist!
