Job Summary:
Research Innovations Inc. (RII) is redefining defense technology and is seeking a committed CNO Developer to join their Cyber security team. The role involves developing novel software solutions, designing and debugging CNO software capabilities, and maintaining software build environments for defense and homeland security customers.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work with an amazing team of engineers to develop novel software solutions
โ€ข Designing, developing, and debugging new CNO software capabilities
โ€ข Evaluating, upgrading, and re-engineering acquired CNO tools, techniques, and technologies
โ€ข Programming for multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux, mobile, and network devices)
โ€ข Network programming
โ€ข Software analysis and reverse engineering across architectures
โ€ข Creating and maintaining software build environments
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Active US Top Secret security clearance
โ€ข Ability to upgrade to TS/SCI Special Access Program access
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or network engineering, or minimum four (4) years of experience in a commercial, government, or academic setting in the field of computer science, or information systems
โ€ข Significant experience programming in C/C++ and Python
โ€ข Minimum one (1) year experience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments, UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments
โ€ข Familiarity with software version control tools (e.g., Git, Subversion, or CVS)
โ€ข Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo)
โ€ข Experience using software debugging/troubleshooting tools and techniques
โ€ข Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience
โ€ข Basic understanding of assembly programming concepts (e.g., PPC, MIPS, and x86)
โ€ข Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with customers
Preferred:
โ€ข CNO background
โ€ข Embedded systems development experience
โ€ข Android development experience
โ€ข Unix/Linux kernel development experience
โ€ข Experience programming in Assembly and/or low level programming languages
โ€ข Familiarity with the OSI model, TCP/IP stack, and popular network protocols
โ€ข Familiarity with network engineering concepts (e.g., routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs, and NAT)
