Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis, including vital signs and lab results.
  • Perform and manage hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, including setting up and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Teach patients and families about dialysis, diet, fluid management, and care of access sites.
  • Record all patient care activities, including assessments, treatments, and complications.
  • Work with healthcare teams, ensure infection control, and respond to emergencies or complications during treatment.
Qualifications:
  • HI Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN), Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting, particularly in nephrology, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing
