Job description

Summary:
We are representing a precision manufacturer currently hiring a CNC Swiss Machinist and Programmer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. This is a key role responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Swiss Turning Centers, as well as conducting first piece inspections to ensure product quality meets ISO standards. The position offers steady work, strong team support, and the opportunity to take part in continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC Swiss Turning Centers

  • Perform first piece inspection and ensure all parts meet quality standards

  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills as needed

  • Support design review meetings and suggest improvements to manufacturability

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support on the shop floor

  • Help manage material planning to meet production demands

  • Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of CNC Swiss Machinist experience

  • High school diploma required

  • Proficient in G-code and CNC programming

  • Experience with both CNC Lathes and CNC Mills

  • Strong problem-solving and inspection skills

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
