Job description

Position Overview

Granex Industries is seeking a CNC Operator Trainee to join our fast-paced stone-fabrication shop. This unique role will rotate between our Robotic Sawjet Department and CNC Router Department, learning to operate and program both types of CNC-controlled machinery. We will provide full, hands-on training for the right candidate who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready for physical work in a loud production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation & Programming

    • Train to operate and program a Baca robotic sawjet (CNC-guided).

    • Train to operate a Northwood CNC router for stone countertop fabrication.

  • Material Handling & Physical Work

    • Safely push, pull, lift, and maneuver heavy stone slabs.

    • Crouch, bend, and reach as needed to set up and run equipment.

  • Quality & Organization

    • Follow shop tickets and production schedules with accuracy and efficiency.

    • Maintain a clean, orderly workspace to ensure safe, smooth operations.

  • Team Collaboration & Safety

    • Communicate and work well with team members across both departments.

    • Adhere to all OSHA and company safety policies, including PPE and machine-safety protocols.
