Job description

TMCO is currently hiring 1st shift CNC Punch Operators. We're looking for individuals with CNC knowledge who are motivated to learn, take pride in their work, and contribute to producing high-quality products.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience operating CNC punch press machines
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and tool adjustments
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
  • Familiarity with sheet metal materials and tolerances
  • Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and able to meet daily production goals in a job shop environment

Job Duties:

  • Set up, operate, and adjust CNC punch press machines according to work instructions and customer specifications
  • Load and unload sheet metal and manage finished parts and scrap material
  • Install, remove, and maintain punch tooling as required for each job
  • Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Inspect parts throughout production using proper measuring tools and documentation
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and tooling checks
  • Follow all safety procedures related to punch press operation and material handling
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
