Hiring Opportunity: Perrysburg OH
Four 10 hour days Monday - Thursday!!! 6am - 4:30pm
Our client is looking to hire a Press Brake Programmer to join their team in Perrysburg Ohio! Our client is a nationwide leader in in solving packing line productivity problems, with a full cycle manufacturing plant right in Perrysburg OH.
Qualified candidates would need experience with reading blueprints, AutoCAD, CNC Programming, and training on 2D Cad-CAM and Basis Vipos.
Candidates would be responsible for performing Maintenance on NC and CNC machines, estimating sheet material for upcoming jobs, programming sheet steel programs, tracking steel sheet inventory, writing G-code programs in 2D form from AutoCAD, and Operating a Punch Press as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform maintenance on NC and CNC machines.
- Prioritize punch press workload.
- Estimate and requisition sheet material for upcoming jobs.
- Maintain proper maintenance schedules on all machinery and keep proper records concerning that maintenance.
- Works closely with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing.
- Verify programs with prints for correct calculations.
- Cross train for brake press
- Program and nest punch press sheet steel programs from .dxf files, g-codes, AutoCAD drawings or hand sketches as necessary.
- Track steel sheet inventory and maintain steel allocation.
- Write g-code programs in 2D form from AutoCad.
- Operate Punch Press when needed.
- Form parts and materials according to print design.
- Investigate and answer questions concerning use, capabilities and operation of NC and CNC machines.
- Maintain tooling inventory for punch press and brake press and requisition tooling as necessary to maintain workflow.
- Adhere to all applicable safety rules.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge in CNC programming and operations.
- Training on 2D CAD-CAM and Basic Vipros.
