CNC Press Brake Operator - Set up and operates a CNC press brake to manufacture parts from sheet metal. Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machine.
  • Read and understand production assembly drawings.
  • Use measuring tools, calipers, tape measure. Recognize different material type/gauge.
  • Check work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow standard shop practices and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to understand established procedures and work instructions.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with no assistance.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1-2 years of press brake experience.
  • Ability to read and understand documents written in standard English.
  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Be safety and quality-oriented, accountable, dependable, reliable, productive, ethical, a strong communicator, innovative, a team player, and have a positive attitude.
