Plasma Cutter Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $16.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:00am to 04:00pm)
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating plasma cutting machinery to produce high-quality metal components, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery within our production workflow.
  • This is a critical role that requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safely load and unload the burning table using an overhead crane, utilizing chains and magnets as required.
  • Efficiently remove cut products from the table, stack them neatly on pallets, or place them in designated bins.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of processed materials to the next department as per production schedules.
  • Program and expertly operate CNC plasma cutting equipment to meet precise specifications.
  • Program and set up the plasma cutter, including selecting and installing proper gases and cutting tips for optimal performance.
  • Generate multiple part nestings to optimize material utilization and reduce waste.

Plasma Cutter Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating plasma cutting machinery
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to machinery operation and material handling.
  •  Experience as a CNC Machinist. Proficiency in operating overhead cranes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Familiarity with various hand tools.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Knowledge of calibration processes for tools and equipment.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
