Job Title: CNC Operator

Shift : 7AM-3:30PM initially, transitioning to an afternoon shift from 3:30PM-2AM Monday to Thursday after a month.

Wage - $22-27/hr.

Location - South of Calgary

Job Description

The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality metal components that meet project specifications and industry standards. They will handle custom projects for a variety of clients, often including trailers and cabs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of CNC operation experience with plasma table, laser, or press brake.
• Any CNC machine operation experience is an asset.
• Experience with adjustments.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Skills in lathe, mill, machining, fabrication, and machine operation.
