CNC Fabrication Machine Operator| Hurricane, UT


Nexeo Staffing is hiring a CNC / Fabrication Machine Operator for a leading structural steel manufacturer in Hurricane, UT. This company fabricates steel components used in major commercial and industrial construction projects across the United States.

If you have experience operating CNC equipment, fabrication machinery, heavy manufacturing equipment, beam lines, drill lines, plate processors, band saws, or other production equipment, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and long-term career growth.


Responsibilities


  • Operate CNC drill lines, beam lines, plate processors, band saws, punches, and shears
  • Read blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and cut lists
  • Measure and inspect materials to ensure quality standards
  • Set up equipment and perform basic machine adjustments
  • Load and unload steel materials using forklifts or overhead cranes
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues
  • Maintain production schedules while ensuring accuracy
  • Work closely with welders, fitters, and quality inspectors
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area


Qualifications


  • Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
  • Experience operating CNC or heavy equipment strongly preferred
  • Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
  • Basic math and measurement skills

Pay

Full Time | Monday – Friday | Day Shift | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Lunch: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM)

Full Time | Monday – Friday | Swing Shift | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (Lunch: 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM)


  • Swing Shift Differential: Additional $3.00 per hour
  • Saturdays may be required during busy periods.
  • Current Saturday Schedule:
  • Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Swing Shift: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
