Job description

Position Overview:
B amp;T USA is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role will operate CNC machines and equipment, prepare test runs to ensure a machine is working properly as well as inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various tasks like drilling, grinding, and milling.
  • Understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct functions.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
  • Monitor machines as they run and adjust as needed
  • Inspect and measure finished products using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Perform daily maintenance on the machinery to ensure functionality.
  • Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines
Required Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a CNC operator.
  • Knowledge of 5 axis vertical and 4 axis horizontal mills and multi spindle/turret mill turn lathes a plus
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs unassisted and up to 50lbs assisted.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Regularly required to stand, bend, reach with hands and arms; and stoop or crouch.
  • Work performed in a manufacturing shop.
  • Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, orders, fumes, etc.
Job Type:
FT – Hourly, on-site.
Four-day workweek. All shifts available. 1st shift (7am - 5:30pm) 2nd shift, includes a shift differential (5pm - 3:30am) amp; weekend shift. Overtime may be required based on production needs.
