Job description

Machine Operator / Quality Inspector - Afternoon Shift

Location: Port Huron, MI, 48060

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Machine Operator / Quality Auditor to join our Afternoon Shift team (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) in Port Huron, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading vinyl material into am automatic press for the machine to produce the part. Once the part is complete, they will then be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role requires a detail orientated person who can identify even the smallest of quality defects in a part. $19.45 / hr to start plus an additional $1.00 shift differential, with full benefit coverage available the 1st of the month following your date of hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machine to load material and produce part.
  • Conduct audits on each part to ensure it meets Eissmann standards.
  • Rework parts prior to shipment as necessary.
  • Repack parts prior to release for shipment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator / Quality Auditor or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality auditing techniques and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of (8) hours.
  • Solid attendance record.
