Alanson Manufacturing Company is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Chicago, IL! Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts per specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files
  • Perform in-process quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from CNC equipment
  • Adjust machine offsets, feeds, and speeds to maintain tight tolerances
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and identify mechanical issues
  • Document production output and maintain accurate shop floor records
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers
  • Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes
  • Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
