Job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC mills and a keen eye for detail. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision parts and components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires expertise in various machining techniques and the ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively as well as measuring devices.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Program using GibbsCAM and/or others
  • Set up and adjust machines according to production specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Program CNC machines using Haas controls and offline program systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues as they arise during production runs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a job shop environment.
  • Proficiency with milling machines and other CNC equipment.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
