Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and improving CNC programs for various plastic machining part or secondary operation.
  • Develop, test, and optimize machining and secondary method for plastic part via CNC programing and Setting up CNC machining.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring the highest level of precision and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineers and machinists to design and produce custom parts and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with FEDAL CNC machines , Program , Job set up.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all CNC programs and modifications.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in CNC programming and machining
  • Hands on FEDAL CNC operation and able to try operator.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain on-time deliveries for all jobs in production.
  • Maintain quality control procedures.
  • Performa any other duties assigned by Plant manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • 3-5 years in CNC multi-axis machining, tool/fixture design and process development.
  • Must know machining practices such as blueprint, reading cutting tools, work-holding, and fixturing.
  • Familiar with set-up and operation of CNC machines.
  • A demonstrated thorough understanding of a variety of CNC machining operations including mill/turns, milling, turning, EDM.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate all engineering drawing requirements as required for the development of CNC programs.
  • Ability to read, write and edit programs at the ISO G&M code level to optimize and debug as necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to program, set up and operate a variety of CNC machining processes including milling, turning and grinding equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and assignments within allotted times.
