Job description

As a nationwide recruiter, I’ve got multiple Machine Tool Repair Technician opportunities - in the Lafayette, IN metro area, for both 2d and 3d shifts!

Important Notes:

  • The qualified Candidate will have successfully completed an approved mechanical apprenticeship program OR possess extensive experience in the mechanical repair of machine tools and related equipment.

  • The ideal Candidate will have experience with Siemens 840C and Siemens 840D Controls

  • Further, these opportunities come with a $5K sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a 6% shift premium - for 2d (3:30pm-11:30pm) and 3d (11:30pm-7:30am) shifts.

We specifically need someone with the following credentials:

  • Completed mechanical apprenticeship OR equivalent high-level experience.

  • Familiar with troubleshooting and servicing large OEM equipment including: Okuma, G&L, Mazak, Lamb, Landis (grinders), Waldrich Coburg, Ingersoll, Toyoda, DMG, ABB robots, P&H cranes, conveyors, furnaces, washers.

  • Familiar with ball screw repair, repair of precision spindles, and ability to do precision laser alignments on machine tools.

  • Able to commit to 2d/3d shift: 2nd Shift (3:30pm-11:30pm) 3rd Shift (11:30pm-7:30am)

  • Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with internal and external customers/stakeholders.

  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
