Job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC equipment to ensure maximum uptime and production efficiency. This role is critical to supporting our machining operations and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on CNC machines (mills, lathes, and related equipment)
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Diagnose issues in CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar)
  • Respond to machine breakdowns and minimize downtime through quick, effective repairs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine performance
  • Install, test, and commission new equipment and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required (Technical degree or certification preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial or CNC maintenance
  • Strong understanding of:
    • CNC machine controls and systems
    • Electrical troubleshooting (including reading schematics)
    • Mechanical systems and precision alignment
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, and calibration equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
