Job description

Prestige Personnel, LLC is seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist for a full-time, on-site role in Loveland, CO. This position involves setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machines to manufacture precision components in accordance with strict specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with a small team and managers across engineering, production, and operations to ensure high-quality fabrication and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate up to two CNC machines, including Haas VM-3 vertical mill and Haas ST-20 horizontal lathe
  • Load, unload, and process parts according to blueprints and specifications
  • Use manual machines such as lathe, mill, and bandsaw as needed
  • Fabricate fixtures and make tooling changes to support production
  • Monitor machining cycles and inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy within tight tolerances (+/- .0003”)
  • Select raw materials and determine appropriate tooling and process steps
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams
  • Programming background/experience: Mastercam, Fusion 360, or another program is needed.
  • Welding would be a plus

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification in CNC machining or manufacturing technology
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform CNC programming manually
  • Proficient in precision measurement and metrology
  • Strong aptitude for shop math and attention to detail
  • Experience with fixture fabrication and manual machining
  • Commitment to safety compliance in the shop environment
