Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in process inspections of machined parts using calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Perform laser scanning of castings using Roamer Arm technology.
  • Support manufacturing by providing feedback on quality issues and collaborating on adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation.
  • Calibration of measurement tools and equipment to maintain accuracy.
  • Operate horizontal and/or vertical CNC machines.
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges and clean parts.
  • Communicate with quality, engineering, supervisory or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years experience in CNC machining of castings or quality control in a machine shop environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret measurement data accurately.
  • Familiarity with gauge calibration processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
