Job description

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and operational adjustments
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
  • Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
  • Knowledge of material types, thicknesses, and grain direction preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and able to meet daily production schedules

Job Duties:

  • Set up, operate, and adjust CNC laser cutting machines according to work instructions and customer specifications
  • Load raw material sheets, unload finished parts, and manage scrap material
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Inspect parts throughout production using appropriate measuring tools and documentation
