Job description

Capable of setting up and operating CNC Grinders and achieving a high level of quality/ accuracy and performing duties listed below.

PRIMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience working with precise tolerances
  • Advanced measurement skills
  • Knowledge of grinding various steel types is a plus
  • Ability to do common shop math
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout shift
  • Ability to follow preventative maintenance protocols
  • Ability to inspect parts per print and make necessary adjustments
- May include some light programming/editing

Willingness to work as a team

QUALIFICATONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous relevant experience
  • Understand and be able to use precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Self-Starter
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical effort: Work requires standing, stooping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, handle and carry trays weighing up to 50lbs.
