As a CNC Grinder set up and production operator at your focus will be to:

  • Set up to operate vertical grinding machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
  • Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
  • Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select insert types, and check tools for accuracy.
  • Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
  • Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool adjustments.
  • Move completed material to next workstation.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
