Our Conroe Facility produces downhole products for drilling activities in North America. Our plant has high demand and is operating 24/7 to produce these products for our customers. Responsibilities
  • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for machining centers, lathes, and other CNC equipment.
  • Create CNC programs using CAM software and/or manual G-code programming.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Develop machining strategies, tooling selections, workholding concepts, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters.
  • Create and maintain setup sheets, tooling documentation, program revisions, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), first-article production, prove-outs, and process validation.
  • Work directly with CNC machinists during program prove-out and production troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues related to programming, tooling, workholding, machine capability, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.
  • Optimize existing programs to improve cycle time, tool life, productivity, quality, and overall manufacturing cost.
  • Verify programs for tool paths, collisions, machine limits, and safe operation prior to release.
  • Ensure CNC programs comply with engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for machining-related quality issues.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to machining processes, tooling, programming, and setup reduction.
  • Maintain proper revision control and organization of CNC programs and related manufacturing documentation.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and other departments as required.
  • Follow all company safety requirements and promote safe machining and manufacturing practices.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree, machining certificate, or equivalent technical training preferred.
  • 5+ years of CNC programming and/or advanced CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to program CNC equipment using CAM software and/or G-code.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, workholding, and machining practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T.
  • Experience performing CNC program prove-outs and troubleshooting machining processes.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and height gauges.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with machinists, engineers, quality personnel, and production leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
