Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in accordance with individual care plans.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

  • Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and maintaining resident safety.

  • Measure and record vital signs and promptly report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff.

  • Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely and respectful manner.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

  • Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.

  • Follow infection-control procedures, facility policies, and applicable regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

  • Collaborate with licensed nursing staff and other team members to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

  • Required: Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care is preferred.

  • New CNAs are encouraged to apply.
