The Hospital Authority of Columbus, GA (HACGA) operates three compassionate and dedicated long-term care facilities: Muscogee Manor, Orchard View, and Ridgecrest Rehab & Skilled Nursing Centers, all located in Columbus, GA. We are currently seeking Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to join our dedicated team and help provide exceptional care to our residents. This is a fulfilling opportunity for individuals who want to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and enjoy working in a team-oriented healthcare setting.

Position Overview:

As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) at HACGA, you will play a crucial role in providing hands-on care to our residents. Your duties will include assisting residents with daily living activities, supporting their physical and emotional well-being, and ensuring a positive and dignified experience for each individual. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community’s aging population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Assist residents in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Provide personal care with respect and compassion while maintaining the dignity of each resident.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
  • Document care provided and report any observations to the nursing team.
  • Assist in transferring, positioning, and mobilizing residents safely.
  • Support residents with recreational activities, providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of residents’ rooms, including making beds and maintaining organized living spaces.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) in Georgia.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and assist with patient mobility.
  • Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
