What is a CNA sitter?

A CNA sitter, or Certified Nursing Assistant sitter, is a healthcare professional who provides one-on-one care and supervision to patients, often in hospitals or long-term care facilities. Their primary role is to ensure the safety and well-being of patients who may be at risk of falling, wandering, or harming themselves. CNA sitters assist with basic needs such as hygiene, mobility, and comfort, and they promptly alert nursing staff of any changes in the patient's condition. This position is crucial for patients requiring continuous observation due to medical or behavioral reasons.
