Job description

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Instructor/Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinical

Duties: Provide instruction, assessment, and supervision to adult level Certified Nurse Aide students and supervision to adult Practical Nurse students. Day time hours to be determined based upon enrollment and class times.

Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of two (2) years of long-term care experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or active enrollment in a BSN program required. Candidates should have recent clinical experience in medical/surgical, rehabilitation, and extended care settings, including medication administration. Strong customer service skills, effective verbal and written communication, and public relations abilities are highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred. Must be able to effectively instruct and support both CNA and Practical Nursing (LPN) students in classroom, lab, and clinical environments. A pre-employment background check and may be required.
