Join our Critical Care Float Pool team and experience the excitement of high-acuity nursing! As a Float Pool RN, you'll bring your expertise to our Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, and Intermediate care units to support patients with complex and high-acuity needs across the hospital. This role offers the chance to collaborate with exceptional teams, sharpen your clinical skills, and make a meaningful impact every day. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about critical care, we'd love to have you join our team. 2 years of experience in ED or Critical Care is requried.
Responsibilities
The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:
  1. BSN degree
  2. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
  3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
