Job description

About Rivian
Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.
As a company, we constantly challenge what's possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.
Role Summary
As Rivian's Ecommerce Web Content Specialist, you will power the web touchpoints behind major vehicle launches, software releases, and commercial campaigns. Operating directly within our CMS, you will support various stages of the content lifecycle, assisting with tasks from initial planning and brief translation through live implementation, A/B testing, and ongoing search optimization. You will partner closely with Marketing, Engineering, Design, and Sales to ensure web experiences launch accurately, on time, and in alignment with commercial goals.
Responsibilities
  • End to End Launch Planning Support: Assist Marketing, Design, and Digital Product teams early in campaign cycles by helping map out web requirements, entry structures, and publishing schedules before execution begins.
  • CMS Implementation: Build and launch campaign landing pages, OTA software releases, and promotional modules in Contentful, converting Figma designs, strategic briefs, and localized copy into live, high performing web experiences.
  • Technical Quality and Accessibility: Apply lightweight HTML and CSS formatting within CMS parameters to deliver fully accessible, mobile responsive, and visually consistent web pages that uphold brand standards.
  • SEO and AEO Optimization: Implement on page SEO best practices including metadata, heading structure, internal linking, and alt text while formatting content for Answer Engine Optimization to maximize discoverability across traditional search and AI platforms.
  • Visual QA and Pre Launch Testing: Conduct thorough end to end testing across devices, browsers, and staging environments to validate layout, copy, pricing, legal disclaimers, and search elements prior to go live.
  • Experimentation and Refinement: Configure and deploy A/B test variants in the CMS to evaluate user engagement, analyzing performance signals alongside analytics partners to continuously refine key landing pages.
  • Launch Operations and Governance: Manage publishing dependencies, staging workflows, and entry states for smooth campaign rollouts while keeping CMS documentation and QA checklists current to help a lean team operate efficiently.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and marketers to align digital builds with broader commercial strategies, representing the CMS execution perspective in daily workflows.

Qualifications
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in web content production, ecommerce operations, digital marketing, or SEO content execution in a fast paced environment.
  • Hands on experience managing end to end web content workflows, from initial planning and brief intake to building, testing, and QA.
  • Direct experience working inside enterprise structured CMS platforms like Contentful, including content models, references, localization, and publishing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of on page SEO fundamentals with exposure to emerging Answer Engine Optimization trends.
  • Technical comfort reading and editing basic HTML and CSS with familiarity in responsive design and web accessibility standards.
  • Meticulous attention to detail across content, layout, links, legal copy, and search elements with strong communication skills across cross functional teams.
  • Exposure to web analytics platforms like GA4 or Adobe Analytics and A/B testing configuration workflows preferred.
  • Familiarity with search tools, Google Search Console, or web crawlers preferred.
  • Experience working directly from Figma design files, copy documents, and structured briefs with high fidelity preferred.
