What you will do

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Quality Team as we are actively recruiting for a CMM Operator responsible for measuring fixtures, assemblies, parts and components ensuring they meet customer requirements.ย ย This position will report to the Quality Supervisor.


What weโ€™re looking for:

ยท Create CMM Programs from CAD files or part prints.

ยท Inspect parts using CMM or other gauges when requested by the Manufacturing Department or customer.

ยท Set up work fixtures to engineering nominal dimensions using fixed type or portable CMM equipment.

ยท Participate and assist in GR&R studies, as required.

ยท Complete gauge calibration and control.

ยท Collect SPC data, create charts, and perform calculations, as required.

ยท Perform other miscellaneous tasks in the Quality Department as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.


What you need to succeed:

ยท Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma, or Quality Department (CMM) experience.

ยท Good computer skills in business application programs (MS Word, Excel, or similar).

ยท Excellent communication skills.
