CMI Analytics & Strategy Intern 
6 months from January 2027

 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

As our CMI Analytics & Strategy intern, you will report to the Global Analytics & Strategy Senior Director, working on Premium Fragrances, Skincare & Makeup categories.

You will work at the crossroads of business analytics, reporting and data engineering, supporting both the development of robust data workflows and the delivery of actionable insights for business teams. 

Your main focus:  

  • Processing and analyzing sell-out data across Fragrance, Make-up, and Skincare categories 

  • Supporting the regular update of reporting tools (shared with the whole organization) and in-depth analysis (at categories and brands levels) 

  • Tracking performances (Coty Prestige brands and competitors) & better understanding competitors’ strategies (portfolio management, distribution, pricing…) 

  • Transforming and structuring data 

  • Designing, building, and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using orchestration tools 

  • Supporting the development of internal analytics tools and data products

The team consists of 3 business analysts and one senior director and you will work closely together with several departments such as marketing, media or finance. All your colleagues are curious, team players and nice to work with. 

YOU ARE A COTY FIT 

You get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you are :

  • A final-year student with a strong technical background (business school degree with a strong analytical focus, data or engineering), and experience through internships or academic projects in data-related fields such as data analytics, marketing analytics, engineering, or similar disciplines. 

  • Analytical minded, with the ability to structure problems and extract insights 

  • Able to manage multiple topics and work autonomously with rigor and curiosity 

  • Comfortable with Python and data transformation & familiar with data pipeline concepts and orchestration tools 

  • Familiar with Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Interest for beauty and consumer trends 

  • Fluent in English (Speaking French is a plus)
