Job description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in Customer Master Data to support enterprise initiatives focused on data governance, data quality, and operational excellence. This individual will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and ensuring the integrity of customer master data across critical business functions.

In this role, you will partner closely with teams across Sales, Finance, Order to Cash, Customer Service, and Technology to drive strategic improvements in customer data processes. You will participate throughout the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development support, testing, and implementation. Success in this position requires deep Oracle Customer Master Data expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence cross functional stakeholders in a global enterprise environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to Customer Master Data processes

• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements

• Serve as the primary liaison between business teams and IT throughout project execution

• Support Customer Master Data governance initiatives focused on data quality, consistency, and process improvement

• Develop process maps, business workflows, sequence diagrams, future state designs, and system documentation

• Participate in solution design, development, testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation activities

• Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross functional teams to ensure successful delivery of business requirements

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, operational efficiency, and master data management improvements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise scale business and technology initiatives

• Strong expertise with Oracle Customer Master Data, Oracle Fusion applications, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle CX, Oracle Order to Cash, and Oracle Accounts Receivable processes

• Advanced experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and creating functional specifications

• Demonstrated expertise using JIRA to create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and backlog items

• Experience supporting large scale global programs and collaborating with geographically distributed teams

• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities with a focus on data quality, business process optimization, and governance

• Proficiency with PL/SQL and Microsoft Excel for data analysis is preferred

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with executive stakeholders and business leaders

• Proven ability to influence cross functional teams, drive consensus, and take ownership of end to end business processes

• Comfortable working onsite full time in the Atlanta area
