We have an immediate opening in the Northern Virginia area for a qualified transportation Construction Manager, assigned to manage inspection staff and perform a Construction Manager role on DDOT, VDOT, as well as Northern Virginia locality contracts. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing staff and managing small to large DDOT, VDOT and locality projects, including design-bid-build and Design-Build projects. Must have significant experience in roadway/bridge construction. Experience on local government projects preferred. Capable of leading a construction staff, be proficient at reading and interpreting plans, specifications and shop drawings as well as overseeing construction document controls and enforcing contract compliance. Full VDOT materials certification preferred.
