Job description

Provide support for the DoD in Intelligence and Automation Operations. The purpose of this effort is to provide comprehensive operational intelligence integration and data-centric support to the DoD and its diverse customer base, including tactical units, joint forces, interagency partners, allied and coalition entities, Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs), Joint Task Force J-2s, and Combatant Commands. This effort enables intelligence consumers to discover, access, and share relevant Intelligence Community (IC) reporting-both all-source and single-source-across the networks they operate. Core services for which the Akima team is responsible include cross-domain solutions, secure network access, data management, systems integration, and access to intelligence reporting across U.S. and multinational platforms. Responsibilities * Serves as the primary lead for planning, executing, and managing complex IT programs supporting Army Military Intelligence. Oversees all phases of the program lifecycle, including initiation, requirements definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management. Ensures compliance with contractual obligations, cost, schedule, and performance objectives. * Coordinates across stakeholders to align program goals with mission priorities and deliverables. Manages task assignments, monitors progress and verifies successful completion of deliverables. * Leads development and maintenance of program documentation, including project plans, status reports, and performance metrics. * Implements quality assurance processes and change management strategies to maintain program integrity. * Provides financial oversight, including budget planning, cost analysis, and forecasting. * Facilitates communication between technical teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure transparency and timely issue resolution. * Drives continuous improvement by assessing emerging technologies, industry best practices, and lessons learned to optimize program outcomes. Qualifications * Master's degree in business Analytics, Project Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with 12 years of direct industry experience
* Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Project Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with 14 years of experience in the same disciplines
* An Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph is required for consideration
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Must demonstrate ability to work independently over initiating, managing, executing, and reporting on tasks with minimal oversight.
* Ability to manage IT contracts focused on software development and system administration. * Responsibilities include task assignment and review, setting project pace, monitoring work-in-progress, and verifying successful completion of deliverables.
Desired Experience: * Minimum 10 years of experience managing IT contracts focused on software development and system administration.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager supporting Army Military Intelligence.
