Job description

Job Summary:

Under the direction of, and reporting to the Branch Manager CO2, the Beverage Specialist is responsible for the installation, technical support, and maintenance of CO2 and beverage systems. This position will work to support our Beverage Team as well as on site at customer locations or other CM2 locations to perform work. The Installer works to build and uphold strong customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Safe, efficient, and courteous completion of assigned deliveries

  • Arrive ready to work, verify daily priorities if questions
  • Verify operational integrity of equipment, load and go
  • All paperwork completed error free
  • Coordinate installation plans for CM2 customers
  • Install and provide preventative maintenance and testing of N2 Generators
  • Ensure Proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety

Keep your Eyes and ears open

  • Be alert for Customer site safety concerns, moves or closures, and Report
  • Note any EQ or back up deficiencies, Repair if possible, and Report
  • Check in with customer if time/timing allows

Act and Respond with a Sense of Urgency

  • Understand that our product supply is critical to our customers' success
  • React and Respond TIMELY and with Respect
  • Manager Customer inventory of bulk gases to avoid outages

Responsible for Customer Experience Excellence

  • Clean, professional appearance and behavior
  • Make every customer interaction the best it can be
  • Be the face to our customers - Smile!
  • Repair and update Beverage Systems when taken out of service
  • Maintain all CO2 systems at customer locations as well as assist at CM2 facilities

Maintain Driving certifications

  •  Proper Class DL (A,B as trained and certified)
  • HazMat Endorsement, Tanker if required
  • Health Card renewals
  • Relief Driving for the CO2/Bulk Team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in dispatching, transportation coordination, or fleet operations
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and hours-of-service rules
  • Experience with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and route optimization tools

Competencies:

  • Team Leadership: Sets clear goals, role expectations, and accountability for dispatchers and coordinators.
  • Coaching & Development: Trains on system use (TMS/ELD/GPS), communication scripts, and decision-making; builds skill matrices.
  • Performance Management: Uses KPIs (on-time %, dwell, utilization, acceptance rate) to drive weekly improvements.
  • Shift & Coverage Planning: Ensures adequate staffing, cross-training, and succession planning.
  • Conflict Resolution: Manages driver–dispatcher and customer escalations fairly and quickly.

Work Conditions:

This position works indoors and outdoors on-site in our office, warehouse, fill plant, loading docks and our customers. This position also involves operating a CM2 vehicle and must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
