Job description

About Usย Aurora Clutch and More is a local, family owned and operated automotive repair shop specializing in clutch repair, transmission repair, brakes, and exhaust systems. We service all makes and models โ€” foreign, domestic, and diesel โ€” and pride ourselves on honest, quality service for every customer that walks through our door. When you work here, you're not just an employee โ€” you're part of the family.

Position Overviewย We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Service Advisor to join our family. As the face of our shop, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and our technicians. You'll play a key role in ensuring every customer has a smooth, positive experience from drop-off to pick-up.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns
  • Write up accurate repair orders and communicate them to technicians
  • Provide repair estimates and explain recommended services to customers
  • Keep customers informed on the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process
  • Coordinate workflow between the front desk and the shop
  • Order and source parts needed for repairs
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction
  • Handle phone calls, scheduling, and appointment booking
  • Process payments and invoices

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Solid knowledge of automotive repair and terminology
  • Sales experience preferred โ€” ability to recommend and sell services confidently
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and a team player
  • Experience with shop management software is a plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay $25โ€“$35/hr based on experience
  • Performance bonuses and commission opportunities
  • A supportive, family oriented work environment
  • Opportunity to grow with a locally owned, family operated business
