Summary:
The System Administrator shall maintain existing customer network resources located XX miles from NSAW. Responsible for supporting servers, current hardware, storage, virtual infrastructures with VMs, new hardware, and resources. Responsible for day-to-day operations, creating/deleting VMs, security updates, troubleshooting, resolving issues, managing tickets (Jira). Familiar with automation tools and building of workflows. Responsible for keeping networks up-to-date utilizing industry best practices and be able to advise on system and network designs, mission architectures, and simplify and streamline network maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
Fifteen (15) years' experience as a SA, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Required Skills:
  • Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
  • Experience with Ubuntu
  • Familiar with System and Network security policies and able to implement policies
  • Maintain and administer systems and networks (monitoring, patching, troubleshooting)
  • Maintaining and deploying VMs. Able to build VMs.
  • Assist in annual inventory activities

  • Create and maintain system and network documentation
