We're hiring a Lifeguard to join our team at Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club, located right on Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in consistency, enjoys engaging with people, and wants to be part of a team that delivers a polished, high-level experience every day.
Compensation: $22.00/hour Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible)
What You'll Do
  • Ensure the safety of Members and Guests by actively monitoring all aquatic areas.
  • Enforce pool rules and respond quickly to emergencies with proper procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning pool environment.
  • Perform daily opening/closing duties and routine pool maintenance.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Assist with aquatic programs, lessons, and club events.
  • Monitor pool chemicals, supplies, and equipment functionality.
  • Accurately complete logs, reports, and incident documentation.
  • Uphold all Club standards, policies, and safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including sun, heat, and water exposure.
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the shift.
  • The Club complies with all California meal and rest break requirements.
