We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused organization.

Overview

The Lifestyle Director provides direction and focuses on all of the experiential components of the community designed to enrich the quality of life and enhance the vibrancy of the community for residents. The Lifestyle Director is responsible for curating and executing a robust program of experiences and events that engage and enrich the lives of our residents. From fitness and wellness programs to court sports, dining and cultural events, this individual will play a key role in creating a vibrant and dynamic luxury-resort lifestyle atmosphere. The Lifestyle Director will supervise and assist with special events, workshops, classes, communications, and with connecting residents throughout the community.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a robust calendar of events and experiences that cater to a wide range of interests and preferences, including but not limited to dining, fitness, wellness, court sports, cultural events, pet events, themed events, social groups, and social gatherings.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement programs, classes, and special community-wide events that promote a healthy, active lifestyle delivered within a luxury environment.
  • Develop and manage the department budget and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Act as main point of contact for all member events including creating all event orders, event marketing, invitations, menu selection, RSVPs, billing coordination, and onsite representative to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality programs.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction at all times.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the community, including the sales team, to ensure seamless delivery of all programs and events.
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and vendors to bring unique and engaging experiences to the community.
  • Create and distribute all regular resident member correspondence including but not limited to monthly member newsletter, club announcements, seasonal procedural announcements, club flyers, signage, and calendars, promotions, events, etc.
  • Act as primary owner for all member website and social media duties; responsibilities include update and creation of online content, distribution of communication, tracking member activity, and collecting member feedback.
  • Maintain electronic membership database and hard files.
  • Track resident participation numbers to measure activity success and communitywide metrics.
  • Welcome new residents to the community and perform new resident member orientation.
  • Work closely with the Real Estate sales team to promote community events and experiences and to provide concierge-style assistance to residents.
  • Assist the sales team with prospects and in sharing the elevated lifestyle of the community.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

  • Should possess a high level of energy, social skills, initiative, enthusiasm, and cooperation, as well as exercise good judgment and discretion.
  • Public speaking skills with small and larger groups.
  • Must be able to organize, participate, and direct in-community event set-ups.
  • The ideal candidate will be outgoing and welcoming.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays required.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
Education/Experience
  • A degree in recreation, hospitality, sales or communication field is preferred and/or practical experience in planning charitable events or company social calendars.
  • Prior experience with private club residential community is a plus.
