Job description

Summary: Works on installing new underground irrigation systems for both residential and commercial clients. Requiring previous irrigation experience and/or electrical experience. With the guidance of Landscape Project Managers and the Landscape Operations Manager, oversees the efficient operation of site maintenance while operating within EMI budget guidelines. Works in cooperation with Landscape Design / Sales, Irrigation Crew Members, Landscape & Maintenance Division Operations Manager and Assets Manager with quality and customer satisfaction as top priority. Communicates and resolves all issues related to installation to ensure the installation meets the specifications of the design. Able to properly maintain and complete daily paperwork needed to report service activities to customers and EMI. Able and willing to communicate with customer site representatives when needed. Will require working off hours and weekends to service residential clients. Must be available to work extended hours, weekends and during inclement weather. As well as performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Trains Crew Members on correctly and safely operating all equipment. *
  • Coordinate & prioritize daily work schedule with Project Manager. *
  • Obtains pertinent paperwork and job files prior to starting any new jobs. *
  • Complete all daily paperwork i.e. timesheets, T&M tickets, field reports, accident reports and any other applicable paperwork. *
  • Maintains tool inventory and coordinate equipment damage with Project Manager. *
  • Maintains all equipment assigned to you crew, which includes greasing, cleaning fluid checks, and monitoring preventative maintenance needs. *
  • Conducts all safety tailgate meetings as prescribed by the Safety Manager. *
  • Enforces and supports all company policies and procedures at all times. *
  • Assists Project Manager in identifying up-sells. *
  • Oversees daily job site quality control. *
  • Communicates on a daily basis with Project Manager. *
  • Prepares and plans the next day's work. *
  • Evaluates Crew Members and Certifies Individual Training Tasks. *
  • Manages and delegates responsibility. *
  • Completes basic equipment repair when needed. *
