Job description

Job Description
You will be the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Battery Lead for the THAAD Missile Defense Team. Our team partners with the Royal Saudi Air Defense Force (RSADF) to operate, maintain, and emplace the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system, ensuring readiness in accordance with IETMs, Technical Manuals, and U.S. Army material maintenance standards.
What You Will Be Doing
As the CLS Battery Lead you will steer a small, high performing logistics crew (2 5 members) while serving as the primary point of contact for RSADF leadership. You'll spend 2 4 years deployed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with intermissions at Fort Bliss, TX for pre deployment training and sustainment planning.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Acting as the CLS liaison to RSADF operational leaders, delivering clear status updates on THAAD maintenance actions.
• Supervising, mentoring, and directing daily activities of CLS personnel to meet U.S. Army Material Maintenance Management criteria.
• Providing field and sustainment level maintenance support for all THAAD equipment stationed in KSA.
• Coordinating the maintenance and sustainment program-including service scheduling, system upgrades, and modifications-on behalf of the RSADF.
• Performing troubleshooting and repairs beyond the Enhanced Operator/Maintainer (EOM) level.
• Communicating technical information verbally and in writing with precision, ensuring RSADF understands requirements and ongoing work.
• Building trust through open, candid communication with RSADF, U.S. Government representatives, and Lockheed Martin leadership.
• Leading transition training that shifts maintenance responsibility from CLS to RSADF maintainers.
• Receiving guidance from the RSADF Commander, disseminating priorities to the CLS team, and reporting maintenance status and administrative needs to senior leaders.
• Requesting Engineering Reach Back support for complex issues and documenting resolutions.
• Conducting daily maintenance briefings with the RSADF Commander or designated representative.
• Escalating critical events promptly to leadership to protect mission planning and execution.

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
• Relevant experience working as a Field Service Technician (or similar position)
• Previous experience with the THAAD system (or similar system)
• Active U.S. Department of Defense SECRET (or Interim SECRET) Security Clearance
• A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel
• Willingness to perform these duties in KSA for the total duration of this assignment
• Ability to meet KSA Iqama (residence permit/visa) requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
• Candidate must be able to maintain a good working relationship with the customer
• Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine deployability capabilities as defined by the contract
**Candidate must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security + certification within 90 days of start date

• Previous experience as a THAAD or Patriot Field Service Technician or Contractor Logistics Support Technician
• Previous experience as a THAAD CLS Team Lead experience

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Previous experience working with the KSA armed forces
• Previous experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar)

- Applying fault detection/isolation procedures
- Networks (e.g. LAN, WAN, IP address schemes)
- Unix and Linux
- Electrical/mechanical aptitude

- Ability to apply appropriate Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation
- Ability to manage and account for inventory

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
