This role will drive application modernization using Java, C#, APIs (Apigee), GitHub, and CI/CD automation, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native architectures. As a Google Cloud Application Architect, you will lead the architecture and technical strategy for migrating enterprise applications from legacy systems (on-prem / AS400 / traditional platforms) to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
You will design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native application architectures while guiding modernization efforts using Java, C#, GitHub, Apigee, and CI/CD automation. You will act as a customer-facing cloud SME, collaborating with internal engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless migration and optimized deployment on GCP.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Google Cloud (GCP) services, architecture patterns, and migration strategy.
• Should leverage Google Cloud technologies to design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, efficient, cost-effective, highly available, and flexible solutions that drive business objectives.
• Should be proficient in enterprise cloud strategy, solution design, workload migration approaches, deployment and orchestration, optimization, and architectural best practices.
• Familiarity with the Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework is a key requirement for this role.
• Lead the end-to-end migration of applications from legacy platforms to GCP, including assessment, design, re-platforming, and modernization.
• Architect and design cloud-native and hybrid application solutions leveraging:
o Apigee API Management
o Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL
o GCP Operations Suite for logging, monitoring & incident response
o Cloud Interconnect / VPC networking
• Build application modernization roadmaps using Java and C#, ensuring best practices in microservices, API-first design, and distributed systems.
• Develop and govern CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and DevOps automation best practices.
• Present architecture recommendations and designs to customers and executives (CxOs, Directors, Engineering Leads).
• Create high-quality technical content including architecture decks, whitepapers, solution diagrams, and training recordings.
• Provide technical training & enablement to internal teams (Solution Architects, BDMs, Engineering, Product stakeholders).
• Ensure GCP deployments meet security, compliance, reliability, and cost-optimization standards.
