Position Summary

The Cloud Architect will lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .

This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for driving cloud transformation initiatives, modernizing enterprise applications, implementing secure cloud architectures, and partnering with engineering and security teams to establish cloud governance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, architect, and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Lead enterprise cloud migration initiatives, including rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and rearchitecting on-premises applications and infrastructure.
  • Drive application and infrastructure modernization efforts to improve performance, scalability, operational efficiency, and security.
  • Develop cloud-native reference architectures, governance standards, and security guardrails.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for availability, performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Design and implement enterprise cloud security architectures aligned with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Develop Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies, including RBAC, least privilege access, identity federation, and secrets management.
  • Design secure cloud networking solutions utilizing VPN, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and Google Cloud Interconnect.
  • Implement network segmentation, micro-segmentation, Zero Trust security principles, and advanced network protection strategies.
  • Secure Kubernetes, containerized workloads, serverless applications, and microservices environments through policy enforcement, runtime protection, and image security.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM, and Bicep templates.
  • Build and enhance DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning, compliance validation, and automated policy enforcement.
  • Establish cloud monitoring, logging, observability, alerting, and incident response capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, infrastructure, platform, and security teams to deliver enterprise cloud solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or enterprise infrastructure.
