About Noosh:
Noosh, a subsidiary of HHGlobal, is a growing SaaS company providing web collaboration and procurement cloud platforms to Fortune 500 clients. Over 5,000 companies use our high-volume cloud application, facilitating $1.7B+ in annual transactions.

Position Overview:
We seek an AWS Systems Administrator to maintain the stability, security, and performance of our global production systems. While the role prioritizes operational excellence and infrastructure management, experience with DevOps practices (e.g., automation, CI/CD pipelines) is required to collaborate with engineering teams and optimize workflows.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and monitor day-to-day operations of mission-critical production systems, ensuring 24x7 uptime and reliability.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and application performance issues across Linux/AWS environments.
  3. Maintain and secure AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and SSL/TLS configurations.
  4. Support development teams by provisioning staging environments and assisting with deployment automation (CI/CD pipelines).
  5. Monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or CloudWatch, and optimize resource utilization.
  6. Collaborate with DevOps/engineering teams to integrate security best practices and streamline workflows.
  7. Document processes and maintain disaster recovery/business continuity plans.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field + 1+ years of hands-on sysadmin experience (Linux/AWS).
  • Expertise in troubleshooting TCP/IP networking, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation and system maintenance.
  • Experience with server virtualization, monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), IaC, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of security hardening, patch management, and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge IT operations and development teams.
  • US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: AWS SysOps Administrator, RHCSA, CompTIA Server+, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing KVM virtualization hosts (libvirt/virsh, VM provisioning, live migration, storage and network configuration, hypervisor patching and hardware health monitoring) in on-premise or hybrid datacenter environments.
  • Basic experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef).
  • Exposure to cloud-native technologies and hybrid infrastructure.

This position reports to: IT Operations Manager.

Note: On-call rotation required for 24x7 global production support.
