Description

The Sr. Cloud Solutions Analyst will become the Cloud Solutions team’s primary specialist for Microsoft Azure infrastructure, filling a current expertise gap within a fully cloud-based environment. The role will own and support Azure networking and security capabilities while helping maintain reliable, secure access to infrastructure, applications, and services used across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include resolving operational tickets and access issues, administering security policies and tools, completing patching and certificate renewals, monitoring performance, and executing approved changes. The analyst will also contribute to strategic cloud initiatives through solution design, project preparation, implementation, communication, documentation, and change management. This investment adds the specialized Azure knowledge needed to reduce operational risk, improve cloud support, and increase the team’s capacity to deliver infrastructure and security projects. The position ultimately supports the client's employees whose work helps public and private clients address water, infrastructure, and environmental challenges.

Understanding of security and compliance practices, including SOC 2 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

**Experience and education: Typically five or more years of relevant experience in a similar role, plus a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience supporting strategically important projects and providing guidance to colleagues is preferred.

**Preferred certifications: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and Azure Administrator. Additional relevant Azure certifications are strong differentiators. MS Teams or Meraki certifications are welcome but are not primary selection criteria for this opening.
