Onboarding Manager

Location: Chicago Office or Remote, NA (US & Canada). Preference for candidates located in or willing to work primarily within Eastern or Central Time Zones to support customer and team collaboration.

About the role:

A Serrala Onboarding Manager uses consulting skills, business knowledge and SAAS / Cloud expertise to onboard our customers to the Serrala Collections and Credit Management Cloud solutions.

You will accompany the onboarding projects end-to-end, from the project preparation via the onboarding & implementation to the go-live & hyper care phase. You will create configuration documents, set-up and configure the system, ensure functional and technical tests before handing over to the customer in the Key-User trainings. After the UAT signs off, you will take care of cut-over tasks and ensure a smooth go-live with the customer. After the go-live and hypercare phase is completed, you will hand over the customer to our Global Support team to ensure a smoot transition from project to support & maintenance.

You will act as an interface between Serrala departments (Product Management, Development, and QA), lead workshops at and with our customers and ensure high-quality project delivery.

Core duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Implement and onboard customers to Serrala cloud Collections and Credit solutions.
  • Gather business and technical requirements with customer stakeholders.
  • Configure customer cloud tenants and solution settings.
  • Support interfaces, data exchange, and testing activities.
  • Create and maintain implementation documentation.
  • Deliver user training and support customers throughout the UAT.
  • Perform go-live and hypercare activities to ensure a smooth transition to production.
  • Collaborate with customer teams and internal stakeholders to achieve successful implementations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What makes you excel in this position:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in IT, SaaS, software implementation, onboarding, or consulting environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
  • Experience managing or supporting customer implementation and onboarding projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections, Credit Management, Dispute Management, Cash Application, or related finance processes is a plus.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions and cloud-based implementations is preferred.
  • Experience with APIs, interfaces, integrations, and data exchange is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP finance systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes is highly desirable.
Salary Range

United States: USD 65,000-75,000

Canada: CAD 88,000-110,000

The above annual base salary range represents a general guideline for the low and high end of the pay range for this position. However, the actual salary offered will be determined on various factors including but not limited to location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training as well as market and business considerations.
